Mrs Savithri Vasudevan (84), wife of Mr Narayanan Vasudevan (Ex-President of Malayalee Association of the UK in East Ham) of Stradbroke Grove, Ilford, passed away peacefully at her home this morning.
They both came to the UK in 1974 with three their three young children and lived at Manor Park for more than 30 years before moving to the present address in 2008.
Their native place in Kerala is Peretil, Varkala in Trivandrum District .
Mrs Savithri Vasudevan was employed in a sweet making factory in Romford Road, Forest Gate for several years.
Mr Vasudevan was very much involved with the formation of the Malayalee association of the UK and served as Vice President, President and Trustee of MAUK in the 80’s.
Daughters:- Sulekha, Sujitha and Kavitha
Sons in Law:- Sreekumar Palliath, J P Jayakumar and Joy A Nair.
