Malayali Medical Association Annual on 30th January 2021

Malayali Medical Association (MMA) UK is celebrating their 2021 annual social and cultural event on 30th January evening between 5.00 pm and 8.30 pm. This is in compensation to the  summer 2020 weekend event which has to be called off unfortunately due to the Corona pandemic and subsequent government restrictions.
The online program includes greetings from past presidents, various artists from Kerala including playback singers K S Chithra, P Jayachandran and the Kerala Health University Vice Chancellor. The famous playback singers Sujatha Mohan and Swetha Mohan have sent their blessings and dedicating a song for the UK malayali doctors and families.  MMA celebrations include artists from UK and Kerala joining together to uplift their spirits with many variety entertainments.  
MMA UK founded in 1982 is having their 38th Annual event live on YouTube and Zoom. Covid 19 has affected the whole world in many ways and doctors being in the frontline have been one of the most struggling lot. They are trying to cope and suit to the new way of caring for the patients in these troubled times. They are always concerned about their own safety and obviously their families and equally their patients as well. 
 As the pandemic is sweeping across UK many doctors and their families have contracted the virus and MMA is extending their sincere condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones to Covid19.
It has been a tough time for the MMA doctors and their families and it is comforting to know that these celebrations will bring cheer, encouragement and joy.
